Let's be clear where I'm coming wow classic gold for sale from, here: I've been playing World of Warcraft almost always for 15 years. (I lapsed to get a big chunk of the Wrath of the Lich King age for IRL reasons.) While I know the allure of WoW Classic, I'm very much a proponent of modern WoW; the sport has developed over time to become more accessible for me to play with only a couple of hours weekly, as real life today dictates. But I have a tendency to play just with a couple of buddies on a sporadic basis, which means I'm searching for something very different compared to hardcore raiding or PvP audience.
Within that framing, I believe WoW has gotten more and more fun over time. There have been a few missteps, sure (I'm looking at you, Warlords of Draenor), but I believed the semi-recent Legion was the ideal expansion Blizzard has done. My hopes are high for Shadowlands.
It's hard to get a sense of an entire World of Warcraft expansion from thirty minutes of play. In my brief presentation, I recreated my primary (a Beast Mastery Hunter) and played through the introductory quests from the Bastion zone, a heaven-like airplane from Azeroth's afterlife. The minute-to-minute gameplay very much followed the formula of modern WoW questing, with many different tasks like hard unique enemies to duels, assisting craft things from timed minigames, and needless to say, killing 10 rats (well, not rats, but they may as well be).
But we're a year from launching, and past expansions have wow classic gold taught us that lots of that small stuff can and will change in the forthcoming months.
